Ravi Chopra is the Founder and Chief Investment Officer of Azora Capital. Over the course of a 24-year career, he has focused exclusively on the financial services sector, developing a consistent record of performance through fundamental research, risk control, and disciplined portfolio management.
Before founding Azora in 2013, Mr. Chopra served as Partner and Sector Head of U.S. Financial Services at Samlyn Capital, where he managed all financial sector investments and oversaw a team of analysts. He joined Samlyn at its inception following a five-hundred-million-dollar lift-out from Sigma Capital, where he had served as a financials analyst. His early career included experience at Goldman Sachs within the Financial Institutions Group.
